M. fue sentenciado conforme al art\u00edculo 377, inciso primero, del C\u00f3digo Org\u00e1nico Integral Penal (COIP), que establece una pena de uno a tres a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n para el delito de muerte culposa.
